Beachfront Villa at Ornos

An amphitheatre of white volumes stepping down to the water on the north side of Ornos bay, with a private dock at the bottom and the lights of Mykonos town across the water. Eleven suites for twenty-two guests are spread over three levels and three buildings: a main house, an attached guest house and a row of independent suites, each with its own entrance, so a large party can holiday together without living on top of each other.

The pool level is the heart of it. A 150 m² infinity pool with a shallow end and a built-in lounge with an underwater window runs the width of the terrace, in front of an open-plan living and dining room in white and black with a professional kitchen behind it and a table for ten. Every suite has a king-size bed, a sea view and an en-suite shower room; the two largest have their own kitchens and lounges. Below the pool an al fresco gym, a barbecue and more dining sit under pergolas, and at the water's edge a covered firepit with built-in sofas faces the bay.

The villa comes fully staffed: three live-in staff and a chef on an eight-hour shift, daily housekeeping with turn-down, breakfast and one further meal served, pool and garden care. It can also be taken as an eight-suite house in the shoulder months, with further suites added as needed. Ornos beach is a kilometre away, the airport four and a half, and the town three and a half.
